Data Deletion Instructions

Bach.ai — operated by Wittelsbach Private Limited — connects to your Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising account only with your permission. You can revoke that access and delete your data at any time. This page explains how, and what happens next.

1. Revoke Bach’s access from Meta

You can remove Bach’s access directly in your Meta settings:

• Go to your Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or, for a Business Portfolio, Business settings → Apps).
• Find Wittelsbach / Bach.ai in the list.
• Select it and choose Remove.

When you remove Bach in Meta, Meta notifies us automatically and Bach’s access to that account stops. Removing the app stops future access, but it does not by itself erase data we have already stored. To have that data deleted, make a deletion request (section 2) — or use Meta’s data-deletion request option — and we will delete it as described in section 3.

2. Disconnect or delete inside Bach.ai

• Disconnect an account: in Bach.ai, open your connected accounts and choose Disconnect. This immediately stops all access to that account.
• Delete everything: to delete your whole Bach.ai account and all associated data — including any connected Google Ads and store data, not just Meta — email info@wittelsbach.ai from your account email with the subject “Delete my data”, or use the account-deletion option in the app.

3. What happens after a deletion request

• Your access tokens are revoked and access to your connected accounts stops — immediately when you disconnect in the app, and promptly once we verify an emailed request.
• Your personal and connected-account data is permanently deleted from our active systems immediately once we verify your request.
• Residual copies in encrypted backups expire on their normal cycle, within 35 days.
• We keep only the limited records we are legally required to retain (for example, billing and tax records), which are isolated and access-restricted. Details are in our Data Retention Policy.

4. Confirmation

If you email us, we will confirm once your deletion is complete. If you removed Bach through Meta and would like written confirmation, contact info@wittelsbach.ai and we will provide it.
