Data Deletion Instructions

Bach.ai — operated by Wittelsbach Private Limited — connects to your Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising account only with your permission. You can revoke that access and delete your data at any time. This page explains how, and what happens next.

1. Revoke Bach’s access from Meta

You can remove Bach’s access directly in your Meta settings:

• Go to your Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or, for a Business Portfolio, Business settings → Apps).
• Find Wittelsbach / Bach.ai in the list.
• Select it and choose Remove.

When you remove Bach in Meta, Meta notifies us automatically and Bach’s access to that account stops. Removing the app stops future access, but it does not by itself erase data we have already stored. To have that data deleted, make a deletion request (section 2) — or use Meta’s data-deletion request option — and we will delete it as described in section 4.

2. Disconnect or delete inside Bach.ai

• Disconnect an account: in Bach.ai, open your connected accounts and choose Disconnect. This immediately stops all access to that account.
• Delete everything: to delete your whole Bach.ai account and all associated data — including any connected Google Ads and store data, not just Meta — email info@wittelsbach.ai from your account email with the subject “Delete my data”, or use the account-deletion option in the app.

3. If you bought an E-commerce Growth Consultation and have no Bach.ai account

Advisory customers do not have an account to delete, so the routes above do not apply to you. Use these instead — none of them requires you to sign up for anything:

• Delete the ad data you shared, yourself: open the connect page from your confirmation email, enter your code, and use “Delete what I shared”. It is removed immediately.
• If you never used that control, we delete it anyway. A connected ad-account snapshot is deleted automatically 90 days after we read it. Nothing is required from you.
• Remove our app at Meta: we remove it ourselves the moment we finish reading your account, so in the normal case there is nothing there to remove. If you want to check, or if we told you the removal did not confirm, follow the steps in section 1 — the app is listed as Wittelsbach.
• Or ask through Meta, and it happens automatically. If you remove Bach in your Meta settings and choose Send Request to have your data deleted, Meta tells us directly and we erase the ad-account snapshot we took for your consultation — without you contacting us at all. You get a confirmation code from Meta and a link to check the status. This works even though you have no Bach.ai account.
• Delete your consultation data too: email info@wittelsbach.ai from the address you booked with, with the subject “Delete my consultation data”. We verify it is you and then delete your brief, written action plan, first-touch attribution and consent snapshot, and any ad-account snapshot. An advertising conversion that has not entered provider delivery is cancelled. A request already in flight may complete, and an event already accepted by a processor cannot be recalled.

One thing we cannot delete on request: the record of your payment. Tax law requires us to keep it for seven years. It is isolated, access-restricted, and never used for analytics or marketing.

4. What happens after a deletion request

• Your access tokens are revoked and access to your connected accounts stops — immediately when you disconnect in the app, and promptly once we verify an emailed request.
• Your personal and connected-account data is permanently deleted from our active systems immediately once we verify your request — the same applies to advisory briefs, written action plans and ad-account snapshots.
• Residual copies in encrypted backups expire on their normal cycle, within 35 days.
• We keep only the limited records we are legally required to retain (for example, billing and tax records), which are isolated and access-restricted. Details are in our Data Retention Policy.

5. Confirmation

If you email us, we will confirm once your deletion is complete. If you removed Bach through Meta and would like written confirmation, contact info@wittelsbach.ai and we will provide it.
