Best Facebook Ads Audit Tools 2026, Free and Paid
What are the best Facebook ads audit tools, free and paid?
Start free with Meta's own tools: opportunity score in Ads Manager, Business Support Home for restrictions and rejected ads, and Events Manager diagnostics for tracking. Adzooma, Lebesgue and Bach.ai add free plans that audit performance. Entry-level paid audit plans checked on 1 Oct 2026 run from $69 to $249 a month.
You can audit a Facebook ad account without paying anything: Meta already gives you three checks, and three other tools offer free plans. What Meta’s checks measure is how closely you follow Meta’s own recommendations, policies and tracking setup. Paid tools, with entry plans from $69 to $249 a month, add an outside view of performance and a regular schedule; some, Bach.ai among them, also put a money figure on each problem.
Bach.ai is our product. It is ordered by price like every other tool here, and a section below says when it is the wrong choice. Third-party prices were read on each vendor’s own pricing page on 1 Oct 2026, and Meta’s tools are described from Meta’s Business Help Center on the same day.

| Business Support Home (Meta) | No fee | Built into Meta’s business tools | Status of ad accounts and Pages, rejected ads, restrictions and review requests | Policy and restriction problems |
| Events Manager diagnostics (Meta) | No fee | Built into Events Manager | Critical issues and warnings in your events; Event Match Quality from 0 to 10 | Pixel and Conversions API problems |
| Adzooma | $69/mo (Silver) | Free plan: monthly report, limited opportunities | Account score and recommendations prioritized by impact for Google, Microsoft and Facebook ads | A free monthly check across platforms |
| Lebesgue | $79/mo (Ultimate) | Free plan with automated Meta, Google and TikTok ad audits | Ad audits beside store profit tracking | Online stores that want store data next to the audit |
| Vaizle | $85/mo (AI Plus; $49/mo billed annually) | Free audit template and free tools; no trial listed | AI analytics across ad, social and competitor data | Running the audit yourself |
| Bach.ai (ours) | $99/mo (Starter, includes $10k/mo ad spend) | Free plan: 7-day full trial, no card, then 1 audit a month | Wasted spend, creative fatigue, learning-limited ad sets and pixel gaps, each leak ranked by money | Meta-first stores that want leaks sized |
| GoMarble | $139/mo (Copilot, up to $50K/mo ad spend) | 7-day free trial | Read-only agents for performance audits, creative breakdowns and scheduled reports | One person running up to 5 ad accounts |
| GoodMorning | $199/mo per ad account | None listed; book a demo | Weekly audit: campaign status, creative fatigue, spend efficiency, up to 5 ranked actions | A weekly done-for-you diagnosis |
| Trackingplan | $249/mo, billed annually | 14-day free trial | Monitors every event, pixel and parameter, with root-cause alerts | Tracking QA rather than media buying |
Starting price means the cheapest paid plan at monthly billing, except Trackingplan, which lists its price billed annually. Meta’s three checks are ordered first because they cost nothing beyond your ads: Meta’s billing page lists charges only for ad delivery and location fees (How Meta charges for ads). If you need a broader tool rather than an audit, What is the best Facebook ads tool under $100 a month? compares nine.
What do Meta’s free audit tools check?
Opportunity score: how much of Meta’s advice you follow
Opportunity score rates your campaigns, ad sets and ads from 0 to 100 by how many Ads Manager recommendations you have applied, including errors and warnings such as missing information or policy violations. Its recommendation types cover audience fragmentation and auction overlap, creative fatigue, Conversions API signals, and budget and bidding.
Business Support Home: restrictions and rejected ads
Account Quality is now Business Support Home. It shows the status of your business portfolios, ad accounts, catalogues and Pages, tracks rejected ads, and lets you request a review of an ad you think was rejected by mistake (About Meta Business Support Home).
Events Manager: diagnostics and Event Match Quality
The Diagnostics tab lists issues with your web, app or offline events, marked critical or warning, with steps to fix each. Event Match Quality scores Conversions API web events from 0 to 10 on how well your customer information matches events to Meta accounts, using the last 48 hours of data.
How do you run a free Facebook ads audit with Meta’s tools?
- Open Ads Manager → Campaigns and read your opportunity score at the top of the page, above the table; Account overview shows it too.
- Go to Business Support Home → Account status overview, select the Outstanding tab under Recent account issues, and set the date range to 14, 30 or 90 days.
- Open Events Manager → Data sources → your data source → Diagnostics, and resolve every critical issue before the warnings.
- Select your dataset in Events Manager, click View details on your purchase event, and open Event matching to see how well its customer information matches Meta accounts.
- Return to Diagnostics within three days of a new issue: after three days without action, Meta moves it to Previously detected and removes its fix instructions.
The steps follow Meta’s instructions for opportunity score, Business Support Home, diagnostics and server event details. For a full manual pass, use the Meta Ads Audit Checklist 2026 and What should a Meta ads account audit actually check?.
What do free audits leave out?
Meta is clear about its own score: opportunity score, “including a high score”, does not reflect your actual or future performance, and a low score is no reason to turn a campaign off (Meta). Three gaps follow:
- Impact shows up as score points, not money. Meta’s own example shows fixing audience fragmentation raising a score by 35 points.
- The advice is Meta’s playbook. Examples include Advantage+ audience, Advantage+ placements and Conversions API; dismiss one for business reasons and your score stays below 100.
- Some signals expire. Event Match Quality uses only the last 48 hours of data, and an unhandled diagnostic loses its fix instructions after three days.
Free third-party plans have limits too: Adzooma’s reports monthly with limited opportunities, and Bach.ai’s Free plan, after the trial, runs one audit a month with a preview of your top findings.
What do the paid and freemium audit tools add?
Lebesgue: ad audits beside store data
Lebesgue’s free plan lists automated Meta, Google and TikTok ad audits alongside store profit tracking. Ultimate, at $79 a month, adds customer lifetime value analysis and competitor benchmarking.
Vaizle: a template for doing it yourself
Vaizle publishes a free Meta ads audit template and checklist and free tools that need no sign-up. AI Plus is $85 a month billed monthly, or $49 a month billed annually, and plans are non-refundable.
Bach.ai: each leak sized in money
Bach.ai connects to your Meta ad account, checks it for wasted spend, creative fatigue, learning-limited ad sets and a purchase event that never fires, and ranks each finding by its estimated money impact. Starter $99/mo and Pro $149/mo, each including $10k/mo of ad spend, then 1% (Starter) or 1.5% (Pro) of spend above $10k. So $30k/mo of spend on Starter is $99 + 1% × $20k = $299. On every plan, it executes a change on Meta only after you approve it. Free is a 7-day full trial with no card, then 1 audit a month.
GoMarble: audit agents for a few accounts
GoMarble’s Copilot plan is $139 a month for up to $50K of monthly ad spend, 5 ad accounts and 1 seat. Its read-only agents run performance audits, creative breakdowns and scheduled reports, with no changes to live campaigns.
GoodMorning: the audit, every week
GoodMorning costs $199 a month per ad account, or $159 a month billed annually, and starts with a demo. Each week it judges every campaign and ad set against its own target, maps creative fatigue, flags spend going to your worst ads and lists up to 5 urgency-ranked actions.
Trackingplan: tracking QA, around the clock
Trackingplan is $249 a month, billed annually and priced by monthly active users. It monitors every event, pixel and parameter on web and apps and alerts you with the root cause, so it suits a tracking audit more than a media one.
How often should you audit a Facebook ad account?
Let the tools set the floor. Meta’s Diagnostics tab shows issues detected in the last 24 hours and drops the fix instructions after three days, so check it every two to three days. Adzooma’s free report and Bach.ai’s Free plan each cover one audit a month, GoodMorning re-runs its audit weekly, and Trackingplan monitors continuously. For a routine to follow, see What should a weekly Meta ads audit cover? and, before any optimisation, Should I check tracking before optimising Meta ads?.
When is Bach.ai the wrong choice?
If your problem is tracking quality, start elsewhere: Bach.ai’s standard audit flags a purchase event that never fires but does not read Event Match Quality yet, so use Events Manager, which is free, or Trackingplan. If you want one free monthly report across Google, Microsoft and Facebook, Adzooma’s free plan does that. If you want store profit data next to a free ad audit, Lebesgue’s free plan includes both. And if you spend well over $10k a month, Starter costs more than $99: it is $299 at $30k.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free Facebook ads audit tool?
Yes. Meta’s opportunity score, Business Support Home and Events Manager diagnostics cost nothing beyond your ads. Adzooma and Lebesgue have free plans, and Bach.ai’s Free plan gives a 7-day full trial with no card, then one Meta ad account audit a month.
Does a high opportunity score mean my ads are performing well?
No. Meta says opportunity score, including a high score, does not reflect your actual or future performance. It measures how many Ads Manager recommendations you have applied, so judge results against your own business goals, as Meta itself advises.
Can an audit tool fix what it finds?
Some can, with your approval. GoMarble’s Operator plan, at $399 a month, runs read and write agents that act with your approval. Bach.ai, from $99 a month on Starter, applies a change on Meta only after you approve it. Meta’s recommendations you apply yourself in Ads Manager.
What does a Facebook ads audit tool check?
It depends on the tool. Meta’s tools check recommendations, policy status and tracking signals. Bach.ai looks for wasted spend, creative fatigue, learning-limited ad sets and pixel gaps, GoodMorning reviews spend efficiency weekly, and Trackingplan watches your events and pixels.
